Second Release Candidate for GIMP 2.4.0-rc2

GIMP 2.4.0-RC2 is finally there. The developers have fixed quite some bugs since RC1 but it’s not the final thing yet. Have a look at the NEWS file for the changes made in this release.

Changes in GIMP 2.4.0-rc2

1. more improvements and bug fixes in the rectangle tools
2. antialias the display for zoom levels between 100% and 200%
3. fix zoomed-out display problems
4. improve handling of JPEG settings
5. fix script-fu error reporting
6. on OS X, get rid of menubars in windows and use the global menubar
7. fix plug-ins using GimpZoomPreview
8. throw properly catchable exceptions from foreign script-fu function (like PDB wrappers)
9. bug fixes
